Susanna Barkataki
Susanna Barkataki is the founder of the Ignite Yoga and Wellness Institute and the foremost expert in disrupting the yoga industry in the West. She’s the #1 International Bestselling author of Embrace Yoga’s Roots and South Asian yoga practitioner who studied with teachers in India in the Hatha yoga tradition and speaks from a cultural perspective, teaching with integrity. As a Diversity, Accessibility, Inclusivity, and Equity (DAIE) Yoga Unity Educator, her ground-breaking Honor {Don’t Appropriate} Yoga Summits have had tens of thousands of participants and over 800 notes of gratitude. She is a consultant to major yoga companies like Yoga Journal, Yoga Alliance, Lululemon, Peloton, Yoga Girl, and Yoga International.
Susanna runs Ignite Be Well 200/500 Yoga Teacher Training programs and sought after, highly attended international trainings.
